The Parade - ft. Eevee - PokemonThe Parade - ft. Eevee - Pokemon by Aquajack06
The roaring crowds with the bashing of drums and blowing of horns were all it took to overrun a person’s senses when they walked out to see the parade. The eyes were immediately assaulted by the rainbow confetti that fluttered down and the flamboyant floats that trudged along beside a multitude of exotic dancers as they hopped and spun about in an assortment of ways. Despite the overwhelming chaos that ensued, what really stood out from the crowd were the giant balloons that effortlessly hovered above all the madness. They bounded along aimlessly, following the strings that tied them down from escaping. While most would point and smile at them for their resemblance to familiar characters, a lone Eevee who had made himself scarce amongst the crowd gazed up in awe for a much different reason. What it was exactly he couldn’t say for sure, but something about these gentle latex behemoths had filled his eyes with a hot spark that made them open up nice and wide as they stared on

The onlookers who watched from the surrounding stadium cheered and roared with unparalleled vigor. Shouts and screams rang out into the sky, the two individual names of the opposing trainers being faintly audible amongst the engaging noise.
On the far side of the arena, a Weavile staggered where it stood. Opposite of it, posed a Lucario with his fists raised high, and a gaze which pierced his foe with unnerving focus.
Weavile raised his clawed hands, holding them up with quivering arms. He spread his legs apart, rearing his body to lunge forward and strike. Before such a maneuver could be executed, though, his legs gave way from beneath him. He fell to the ground with a thud, sending a cloud of dust shooting up around him. When the dirt of the arena settled around him no more movement could be detected. Weavile had fainted, his opponents last attack being just too much to withstand.
The Weavile’s trainer called him back to his adjacent Pokeball. His expression was un

Hilbert and Hilda both stepped onto the dock. It had been two years since they had left Unova, and even longer since they had discovered their allergy to Oran Berries.
Even though they were no longer a couple of 10-storey-tall blue spheres, there were still a few remaining side-effects. For instance, they still had a few freckles, and there was a barely noticeable blue tint to their hair.
“Come on, you Slowpoke! Let’s go see how our friends are doing!” Yelled Hilda, all but dragging Hilbert by the arm. “I’m coming, I’m coming!” He replied, trying to catch up with her.
“We can get to the bridge quicker if we cut through here.” Hilda said, pointing to a nearby alleyway. “I don’t know, I’ve got some bad memories about that alley.” Said Hilbert, shuddering. “Some guy jumped out and tried to Flash me.”
“Well, if he tries it again you c

A crisp, cool wind hurried down through a vast field of grass, rustling each blade and causing them to tickle the two yellow bodies that were relaxing upon them. The sun was beaming down as Plusle snuggled her warm body tightly against her close opposite. Minun continued to lay there silently, hesitant on returning any affection all while attempting to cover his newly reddened face with one of his rather stubby paws. It had been another slow yet comfy summer’s day, and the sun had just started to set overhead, turning the sky into an expansive ocean of orange, dotted only by the occasional white puff of cloud.
Plusle had just finished getting comfortable against Minun when a surprisingly loud rumbling noise jolted them both up from the sleepy outing. Their ears twitched nervously as they slowly scanned the area for any potential danger. Minun could feel the tension in his muscles loosening when the rumbling noise came about again, this time followed by a feint groan
